We are Rapid Fire Theatre, and we are proud to be Edmonton’s premiere destination for improvised comedy!
We aim to provide affordable, high-energy improvisation and alternative theatre to our audiences while providing exciting opportunities for our participants.
Check out our hilarious lineup of weekly shows! Every year we produce more than 300 improv shows. That means we have you covered for all your comedy needs almost all year long. Whether you’re looking for something a little different for a birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette party or just in need of some great comedy, RFT is your one-stop shop for laughs and good times.
In addition to the weekly shows, we produce Improvaganza (our annual international comedy festival), BONFIRE (our long-form improv festival) as well as The Wildfire Festival (our festival especially for gutsy jr. high and high school students).
We also produce numerous shows at The Edmonton International Fringe Festival, as well as Fringes across the country, in addition to festival touring! We like to keep busy!
Oh, and we teach improv too! We lead workshops for beginners, experienced performers, kids, and corporate groups!
